and make sure that Ad-Aware is updated.
if that doesnt work, take the cartridge out and blow in the bottom to clear the dust off of the connectors, and blow inside the comp. if it still wont work, or if the screen is random blocks, try putting the Game Genie on. sometimes its connectors work better than the games. if it still refuses to start, whack the comp a few times (GENTLY!). if THAT doesnt work, get ur NES-savvy mom to smack it. always worked for meSo I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

yeah, my parents bought me this one for Christmas. it was insanely expensive and it's awesome, and i wont let anybody near it. and when they do get on, i watch them like a hawk and check the history and stuff. i dont want this thing broken ever, and it wont ever get broken if i can help it.So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

I have had annoying popups to but usually closing all the running process under the "ctrl+alt+dlt" task menu thing stops it,but it comes back later. When it does,I close all but 1 popup, and others dont popup. So try leaving ONE pop up minimized and others shouldnt popup unless you close it.

Spybot will get anything Ad-Aware doesn't.
If it doesn't pick anything up, stop being a pussy and reformat.Comment

Give the comp flowers. Maybe it is a girl computer.Comment

Just make copies of all your stuff on CDs and reformat/nuke.
I am saving up some money to get an external hard drive, moving all my important files (ex. Buzz.bmx files. Music, Movies, Porn) to it. That way, if I have a problem with my Operating System, I wont hesitate to reformat.
WARNING: DO NOT JUST START SHUTTING PROGRAMS AND APPS DOWN IF YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE FOR. ALWAYS RESEARCH THINGS THAT LOOK SUSPICIOUS.
EX. "HEY, I DONT NEED ALL THOSE SVCHOST.EXEs RUNNING!!!"
"OH NO! COPMUTER...WHAT IS THE MATTER, WHY ARE YOU LOOKING ALL BORKEN?!"
2 hours later of burning 12 CDs of backup documents "OH GEE! ALL I HAD TO DO WAS ENABLE ALL THE PROGRMAS WITH MSCONFIG! LOLOOL!O!L!OL!"Comment
