Ouch. Two people who post just to slam others decided to go against me. I'm glad I have about 4 years on you both. Tyros.
mIRC ended up being a waste of my time, as I said. I learned scripting and it boosted my programming skills, but I rarely chatted due to incompetent users. Translation: People are stupid. It's apparent.
Trillian was good until it failed me. System errors, chat dysfunctions, etc. I now rarely use any chat program due to the amount of stupid people there are that want to talk to me these days.
I was on the internet before you were in grade school. I guarantee I have superiority over you in every aspect, except being a general nonsense wherever you go.
Now I'm off to pursue my CS degree and start a company that will eliminate all opposition in the gaming industry. What are you doing with your life?
And internet explorer rocks.

IE never gave me any problems...
AIM has some things in it that are better than MSN. u can change colors and sizes mid sentance, u can customize the sounds and such easier, and u can have multiple names on at once. i bet there's more, but AIM is totally bad.
and i never get random IMs from people...in fact, hardly anybody IMs me ever. i almost wish random people would IM me sometimes.
oh, and u can make those AIM people stop harassing u. just block themSo I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.Originally posted by evilbutterflyi almost wish random people would IM me sometimes.
And you complain about no IM's, but you don't even have your AIM/MSN tabs at the bottom of your posts (note mine)Comment

thats because there are too many stupid people here. i complain about no IMs because i know a buncha people have my AIM name and just dont IM me. i always IM them first, and it makes me feel unloved

Why I love opera so damn much
Look just above the taskbar, taht would be the wonderful Status Bar in action. Very useful for figureing out if your connection is messed up or its the server at a single glance.

*agrees with SotN*
To move between tabs it's ctrl+tab. In Opera, shift clicking opens up the window in a new tab. Ctrl+shift clicking opens it up in a background tab, which is beautiful6. Tabbed windows for what reason? I find Alt+Tab to be much more efficient than having to move the mouse.Comment

*note* I'm only responding to ones that are worth arguing against, because some of the anti-IE people are being stupid.
I missed the thing about skins, but I can take a guess as to what they are. The fact that IE does not support them at all makes any that does inherently better, even if it's a feature you personally find useless. I don't care for skins either, so it doesn't affect my choice of webbrowser at all, but for some people, customization is their life.Originally posted by MrESqueek3. Skins... Why? I have a winXP skin that fixes everything to my liking. No need.
IE takes twice as long to load any pages than FireFox does, barring ones made with the explicit intent and purpose of running 100% perfectly in Internet Explorer, such as any and all Microsoft Corporation pages. It also runs using bloated code. It takes more of my computer's RAM to have FFR open in IE than it does in FireFox. Now, if what you said is correct, the opposite should be true.4. How can you work faster? It has more code and requires more system memory to run. Maybe you just screwed up your IE, or the other browser takes over it when you install, like RealPlayer tries to do.
Personal vendettas against IRC as a whole is now arguing like the people with personall vendettas against IE, so don't even try that angle lest you make yourself out to be a hypocrite. mIRC also works, unlike a large majority of IRC clients I've encountered I was told I need to use. Shure, it's pretty bare-basics, but it works.5. IRC sucks. mIRC was only good for scripting.
Yet again, extra features do not detract from a program, but lack of them will for certain people.6. Tabbed windows for what reason? I find Alt+Tab to be much more efficient than having to move the mouse.
Huh? What was yor question a counter to?7. Reason for support? Negatory. Learn how to use a computer maybe.
Which is a pain in the ass to HAVE to do to let needed popups get through.8. Control clicks with the google toolbar allows needed popups.
You're a rare person. IE crashes on me when I click the link to go to my hotmail account inside of MSN messenger, for crying out loud.12. Never crashed IE in my life. 10 years now.
Using one password is not a safe thing to do. Someone discovers it, how many things can they now access?13. ... Try using one password for every site. Microsoft also has a built-in feature in its OS for password remembering.
And as for what you're saying about XP... I have yet to know what you're talking about. It's never asked me if I wanted to store a password after I enter some place that requires one.SIG PICTURES:

Well let's see.. I'm 15 years old, I'm about to get a large sponsorship in skateboarding, I make hundreds of dollars making images for companies owned by people I know, I have a wonderful relationship with my girlfriend, and I have clocked in over 200 hours of voluntary community service. What would you like to say to that? Now I'm off to pursue my CS degree and start a company that will eliminate all opposition in the gaming industry. What are you doing with your life?
