I did a rather large report on D-Day (and the planning and the impact) as well.
The number at Omaha was about 2400, I think. Fewer than 300 at Utah, but only cause they missed the landing point by 2000 yards. Next worst was Juno, at about 1200. The other two, gold and Sword, had about 600 and 400 respectively. I think. Maybe both 600.
