A few minutes ago, just one block away from my house there was a shooting at my old high school. Look, I don't want this thread to turn into some fucking stupid debate about guns or anything, so please be respectful.

According to reports it seems like the school was pretty quick to respond. No reports of deaths which is surprising, but fortunate. Might not be true, but I'd like to believe it turns out that way.

Yeah, I've been listening on this news.

Accordingly, there's no casualties EXCEPT for the suspect as he shot himself and he went to the school. 2 injuries are reported, one being in serious condition and one that's minor.

Investigation ongoing.

on topic: You never know what may be around the corner, so when I say goodbye to my dad (he's a trucker), I always let him know that I care and love him.

Just this week, a girl from the local college was killed in a hit-and-run. I don't think I knew her, but her name sounded familiar.
