You assume that Fox's "actual news" segments aren't somehow horrifically flawed (which they are -- it's propaganda). It's the sort of "news" that calls this a "liberal shutdown" and puts the blame on Obama for "not negotiating" -- as if these things are fact, when any reasoned examination of the situation reveals this to be completely untenable.
You're also invoking a "both sides" fallacy. Either way, if all you watched was MSNBC, you'd still be doing yourself a disservice because it's a shit network. Most informed people use a variety of sources to reduce the noise/bias.
