Transfer Video to Another Device

What is an inexpensive device that I can buy, so that I can transfer a downloaded video from my laptop to another device via a flash drive that can be plugged into the USB port of another device?

I needed to send my laptop to be repaired about one and a half weeks ago because the keyboard and mouse weren't functioning properly, and it turns out this was caused by food that was stuck under the keyboard and mouse. I recently got my laptop back with a new mouse and keyboard, but I would rather not risk my laptop to stop functioning properly again. I do not like watching television shows for the most part because I usually find something to watch that's more enjoyable on the internet.

I would like to be able to watch my favorite anime shows while eating dinner (when my roommates and I aren't socializing) without the chance of my laptop getting ruined; does anyone have any suggestions even if my previous question isn't possible? Thank you in advance!

the inexpensive device is called 'self-control' and you can't buy that......

I meant that I would like to transfer a video from my laptop by putting it on a flash drive and then taking the flash drive and plugging it into another device, so that I can watch the video there. This way, I would not have to worry about ruining my laptop while eating, and I could still watch my favorite shows during lunch or dinner.

When i eat something in front of the computer i use a plate so breadcrumbs and other things don't fall off inside the keyboard or on the table.

Some televisions have USB ports and you can watch videos or images loaded on them. I can't guarantee if they can read all video types or just a few ones though.

Besides not eating in front of the computer, which is ultimately pretty stupid, you could just use a HDMI or VGA cable to connect to an external video and watch there whatever you want.

they're soft pieces of cable that have a hard end and you stick it inside the appropriate holes with matching ends.

Thank you, but how would they help me transfer a video from my laptop to another device? Aren't they just cables that need to hook up to a second device? If so, which device would I need, and how would I buy these cables and the other device without spending too much money?

just buy an external keyboard or don't eat food over your keyboard. you are trying to find a solution to a problem that really doesn't exist.

btw i eat food over my keyboard all the time, but i just take the keycaps off every once in a while and shake out all the crumbs and it's k, h3hU.

The way you worded it makes it sound like your solution is to find another computer to put the media on, which wouldn't solve the problem your problem;the fact that there is fod in your keyboard. My suggestion would be the sit back from the computer while eating.

I would just like to transfer the downloaded video to another device that plays downloaded videos, so I don't have to risk harming my computer keyboard again. Preferably, I would like to buy a device that is 30$ or less that can play videos by transferring a video to the device by using a flash drive. This way, I wouldn't need to have my laptop anywhere near where I'm eating. ^.^
