they actually did it to every vBulletin they could find. Communities all around. I think it explains much why they'd target similar sites in chain

probably just targeting any website with the specific vulnerability that allowed it to get hacked. i doubt it was just stepmania.com that they hacked either.

The guys who hacked the sites are the same ones who shot up the naval yard. They probably want to halt overseas imports of simfiles. Think about it, i dunno

I thought it was pretty obvious from the get-go that this was a bunch of Syrian hackers concerned about the war on expressivemanias.

Figured this persona is easily imitable for anyone with political divergence trying to direct hostility towards Serbia. Most crackers act because of social causes, and while I believe most minor ones comprise of spontaneous acts for personal benefit, I though maybe it could go a little deeper than "a bunch of activists throwing shots in the dark".

doesn't matter how good of a coder you are. it's about how much spare bandwidth you have.

if you ddos any server hard enough, you can bring down anything.
