Didn't see much point in announcing it when most of the community came to hate me while on staff. I did mention it in a random thought on my profile back in May though.

I thought we were going to have a boy for the 2nd just because of my family's trend. It's been generations of a girl first then boys after, but I guess I get to break that. Doesn't really matter to me as long as she comes out healthy and things go okay. I think Saphira will interact better with a sister as well.

literally all names are just mismashes of arbitrary roots. "albert" for example is a combination of old English words meaning "bright" and "noble", the modern version would be "broble." oh, and "alfred", which is my name, literally means "elf counselor," the roots (ælf and ræd) are too old for anyone to decode. also, there are tons of names which are basically old words referring to body parts or everyday objects, but we accept them because time gave them a name-like quality to it.

Haha well most people have loved Saphira's name so far (she's 2 now). I wanted something unique but not too far out there either. We're thinking Ariana for the new baby which isn't quite as unique but something we could agree on cause I wanted Arya.
