You might know them as Dragonfruit, they look totally awesome and taste like... nothing. With seeds.
They always serve them to Western guests when you are in Eastern Asia and like a fool I always eat a bit because they look cool.
Then after tasting I'm reminded they aren't worth the time *grumble*

Dragonfruit, so underwhelming for such a badass name. Shit look, shit taste.

maybe dragonfruit is such a special and awesome fruit that we as humans can't taste a damn bit of that juicy deliciousness. however dragons, when they roamed free and majestic over the high plains, protecting emerald swords and always a force to be reckoned with, could taste that sweet, ripe, juicy, PERFECT succulence that is dragonfruit.

Lychees or grapefruit, can't pick between the two. Grapefruit is just a foul taste but lychees have this disgustingly sweet taste that makes me nauseous.
