Yeah, yeah. Ska versus Disco. Not the best battle ever, but we need one. Chit Chat is getting kinda stale.

It's like this: Ska and Disco and the two genres of music that use modern instruments with classical instruments.

Disco, for example, may use Violins with a Bass Guitar.
Ska, for example, may use Trumpets with an Acoustic Guitar.

They are, however, very different in their "flavor" of music and style. Which one do you like better?

(And tell me if you don't agree with my definition of what Ska and/or Disco is)

You can't really fairly compare two genres...every genre of music has its masterpieces and its flops.

Ugh... I hate hearing that; it sounds like such a copout. You might as well try, as you can apply that "you can't compare" idea to pretty much anything.

Come on man. He's just asking which do you generally prefer.

I prefer Ska because it sounds like punk with horns. That's always fun.

A side note: Ska actually developed from reggae if I remember correctly.
