Re: Requesting Unlock of Respecting Women Thread
Good, back to where we left off, this is directed at you plop....
"well what differs between you and i is that i don't deny being a dingus to people, while you did."
I know i can be a dick sometimes which i have no problem admitting, but just cuz you openly admit it and everyone knows doesn't make it any more acceptable than me or anyone else doing it.Comment

Re: Requesting Unlock of Respecting Women Thread
Inappropriate, unwanted, and even legally actionable sexual advances were made towards a girl who did not ask for any of this. She turned down these advances but the guy in question would not stop and continued to harass her and offer very inappropriate things that she did not want and had continually told him she did not want.
I made the original thread to help resolve this situation. The reason I withheld names and continue to withhold names is specifically because the girl in question requested that I do so. For even though what happened was bad, she did not wish to expose the culprit to community ridicule -- she just wanted him to stop what he was doing.
As long as the result is he stopped the sexual advances (and believe me -- they were very inappropriate and any court would agree), and as far as I know, he has stopped, that is all she wanted out of this and that was my purpose to the original thread. In that effect I would consider its objective completed and thus there was no further reason to leave it open.
Shame on anyone who supports sexual assault or harassment of women! (or men for that matter) Which, by the way, is exactly what that thread was about.
ssbmchamp, you should feel absolutely ashamed of yourself! Your cocky attitude got the better of you, and you decided to "come out fighting" completely unprovoked, all because of some macho attitude you have. In effect, you were supporting sexual assault of women and I have no good words to say about that.
It speaks incredibly poorly of you. The very best thing you can do is admit you had no idea what you were talking about, that you were completely out of place, that you attacked unprovoked, and offer a public apology, but I don't think you will do so. That's okay; not doing so only makes you look bad.
For the record, I am not angry at the person the original thread was directed towards as, as far as I know, he has stopped the unwanted behaviors. And because the girl affected wished I withhold names, I will continue to do so. To ask otherwise would be to cause further harm upon her which I do not wish.sigpicOriginally posted by Crashfan3Man, what would we do without bored rednecks?Comment
