I just can't apologize enough for being a shitty mod of the "games" thread forum last year and I honestly feel like I'll never be able to make up for what I've done, but I'm mustered up my courage after 7 months to come out to the community about how sorry I am for what I've done and to also suck it up and tackle the ridiculous amount of backlogged work I've neglected. Hey look! It's 2013! That means it is a new year and that is going to mean some new changes as well
First of all, I want to sincerely apologize to each and everyone one of you; I am very sorry about how I have been neglecting this forum, letting it die, and not being responsible with my duties as a moderator. Words can not explain how terrible I feel for what I have done, I hope you can all find it in your hearts to forgive me >.< Having the sudden change of administration regarding Team Blaze leaving me administrating it by myself, as well as a demanding semester, and the addition of two-part time jobs, I've put this forum on the backburner for quite some time and I some point, the amount of backlogged work just became too overwhelming to even start to tackle. I know these are poor excuses for letting this forum get to the way it is now, but I figure I'd at least explain myself to at least give everyone here some understanding of what's happened. Anyways, to make up for my horrible mistakes, I've gone through the tedious work of sifting through the posts, tallying up posts, distributing credits, and setting up some new stuff in place. I hope I can bring all of you a much more enjoyable experience this 2013 in the "game" threads forum
Updates
Credit distributions:
I went through all the threads that were supposed to award credits and distributed credits appropriately. I still haven't done one thread (We shall write a story, 5 words at a time) because there's about 20 pages to sift through but I'll tackle that last one the next time I have a large block of time to work with. The credits were distributed in order first by credit amount and then by alphanumeric order.
Approved Game Threads name change
I've changed the name of these to Credit Awarding Game Threads. I didn't want to seem arrogant with my powers and I don't want to make it seem like I'm enjoying the process of approving and disapproving things. Also, the symbol has been changed from the star, to ($). Now, any Credit Awarding Game Thread will have ($) at the end of the thread title. Any thread created to impersonate a Credit Awarding Game Thread by putting ($) at the end of the title will have the name of the thread be edited without the ($)

Has been wiped. I have one thread in there so far as of the creation of this post (the 2013 remix of ctrl+v). I'll add more as I get more things together.
Why the 2013 mixes for these new Credit Awarding Game Threads?
I have a tool that allows me to see the number of posts each user made in a particular thread ordered by number of posts. By making a new thread, I can count each post in that thread for credits, thus I can refer directly to the numbers that this tool shows me to make tallying points/credits simpler.
Points
Have been cleared. I'll start keeping track of them for 2013, perhaps think of incentives for having the most by the end of the month/year/etc. The point system policy regarding getting a thread approved for points has been removed. 1 post = 1 point = 50 credits.
Credit Withholding Cap
To make things easier on myself, I'm only going to distribute credits once a user has 500 or more credits waiting to be distributed to them.

Tallying System
I've devised a much more efficient system for tallying up posts, including the use of the tool that shows the number of posts by each user in a thread, the creation of "fresh" threads, and a nicely formatted spreadsheet that I've spent a while working on. Hopefully, this will make credit distributions less intimidating of a job for me to do and I'll be able to actually do them now
