My friend Khoa is talking to the guy that owned all the rhythm games at MAGfest that might bring those games over to AN. That means Technika, IIDX, Taiko, DDR, Jubeat, and more

Ah yeah, he mentioned that a few weeks ago. If it works out I will literally spend the entire weekend in that room (though I probably will anyway, I just suck at DDR) >.>

Really sad that I haven't had a chance to get to magfest yet, sounds so awesome but none of my friends want to go

Khoa is going to have little chance of getting that to work. Anthony and Greg would have to travel all the way to Canada and they would have to receive some sort of substantial pay to pay for the costs. HOWEVER in good news I have been talking to Khoa and chances are we are going to have Tricoro at AN. I am also checking out if we can get USB readers to act as Eamuse cards for IIDX.

Talked with my university's DDR club and some people are planning on going. You guys might know some of them because they've been to previous ANs lol

Probably not going to go myself though since it'll be during my co-op work term

My bad! Let's try to figure this out as soon as possible.

Could anyone tell me about sneaking someone into a hotel room? I skimmed some Google results and saw everything from "it was fine" to "we got kicked out." I've never organized hotel arrangements myself before now, so I'm just not sure if it's a good idea.

certain hotels have strict regulations and have employees watch over the number of people that enter and leave hotel rooms, but a lot of the time you can get away with an extra person or two in your room if you're careful enough to not get caught. in the case you do get busted, you're most likely going to get a warning from someone saying something similar like "it's a dangerous fire hazard to have that many people in a room", etc.

from my own experience, our AN room is usually overpacked and the most we ever got was a warning at the radisson when we were checking out on sunday afternoon.

from my own experience, our AN room is usually overpacked and the most we ever got was a warning at the radisson when we were checking out on sunday afternoon.

Worse comes to worse they'll make you pay for an extra room or if there aren't any vacancies maybe they'll charge you some fee and tell you to never comes back again...they won't kick you out onto the street.
