I asked this question in TGB already, but I should have known the answers wouldn't quite have aligned with what I really wanted to ask.
There's a few good courses of debate to be brought up here.
Before answering the any of the questions, please state how frequently you consume cannabis. I'm also curious to know if you also smoke cigarettes as well. I myself do not, and part of my theory also includes the way nicotine might effect dreams .
1. How does consuming cannabis effect your dreams? Does it cause you to have more vivid or less vivid dreams? Or does it cause you to not be able to remember dreaming at all?
2. If you're a habitual daily smoker, do you have strange dreams on days that you don't?
I'm sure there's more things I want to ask, but I'm having a bit of a brain fart.
So let's just get the ball rolling.
I'll start off the discussion with a quick story. As a regular smoker I find that my dreams are always incredibly vivid. I can't seem to control them, but they're always a really wild ride.
However, when I don't smoke for a few days (which only happens every few years) I find that my dreams become relentlessly realistic. The other night I had a dream that I was thrown in jail and my cellmate was a fat black woman selling meth to the other inmates. I can't even begin to tell you the shock I was in when I woke up and none of it had actually happened.
So now the debate springs to you, FFR. Feel free to expand on the topic at hand, I'd love to see this thread really get somewhere. The human mind is an amazing thing, and I'll never even pretend to act like I can understand it.
