But seriously, I gave into FFR's peer pressure and picked up a pair of coiled audio-technica ath-m50's. The quality is astounding for $100, and I melt every time I put them on (they feel like marshmallows on your head)

i used these for 2 years now



i got drunk with them on


i fell down stairs with them


i went to usa/canada with them


i went to japan with them


i went to uk with them


i went to sweden with them


i wrecked rhythm games with them


i washed the earpads in vodka when i got sweaty


i went to mountainpeaks with them (and fell)


i used them in heavy rain and snow


i can listen to audio with good quality with them


they are big yet comfortable and they give off a signal like you were wearing a "do not disturb" sign around your neck so you can be in your own world


they close out noise from the surroundings


i learned how to put on headphones using only 1 hand with these


my dads dog stepped on them









No signs of wear except a few cosmetic scars from acting like a helmet whern i knocked my head on the pavement when i fell once

This headset is actually a lot better than I thought it would be.

A lot.

It almost competes with my Diesel VEKTR headphones by Monster. It sounds great, and the sound output is not USB.

beats by dre is actually a really good headset, they mix it especially for extra bass, most people will hype up sennheisers but that's just marketing, once you hear the bass on beats you're sold

They are the best ever. They even have warranty so you can replace it every time it breaks. They have the best sound quality to date and will for the next few years. Absolutely worth the price. Also gravedigger?

Jlab J5 earbuds are pricy ($80ish), but they are highly durable with great fidelity especially for earbuds.

I'd check head-fi it is the most credible source of the entire entirnet it was invented by mr. Headphone himself
