    Lol 67 was never intended to go into the game, I made it mostly to make the longest possible level that was reasonably challenging, but Amelioratio and the other testers actually had a hard time with it, so we decided to throw it in there.

    On the same note, Amelio's original path for 66 was like 12 steps behind. I ended up finding the optimal path in 2 tries and didn't even want to include the level, but the rest of the testers, including Amelio, struggled with it so we added it in.

    Difficulty. It can be really arbitrary (I was 2 steps off on whiteboy for a long time during testing, as was Amelio. It was Dragon iirc that found the optimal path).


    PS after reading through the old thread, you struggled hardcore with 67 last time lol

      Edit 2: AHHHH lvl 32 messed with my intuition so hard. That was funny.

      Edit 3: LEVEL 35 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....that is all.

      Edit 4: Temporarily stuck on 36. I'm 4 moves too many. I'll continue again when I really feel like thinking logically rather than intuitively xD

        After awhile you start to notice common themes among the levels and what to look for in terms of shortcuts. Lolicon is so similar to forgive me I pretty much knew exactly what to look for. Don't know how the hell I struggled last time. It almost looks like you just opened up forgive me in the editor and changed a few blocks around haha.

        EDIT: Ugh I just read through the old thread. **** 13 year old me. So arrogant and childish. Man I was cringing.

          Yeah, I know that feel...lol @ myself.

          But yeah, I did just open up the editor and move some blocks around in order to make it longer while still having some puzzle elements to it. I never intended it to end up in the game but alas.

          I ended up making a level with over 1000 steps, but it was painfully simple with no puzzle elements. Beyond 600 steps or so, I don't think it's really possible to introduce any cognitive elements.

                        Reading through the old thread, apparently I never beat the game. Only ever reached whiteboy.

                        Also Reach you were so enthusiastic about everyone making levels hahahahaha. It was funny watching you continuously post "cmon people make levels, I need something challenging". God damn mensa mind of yours.

                        EDIT Onto the great attractor. Finally something that isn't infested with t locks. Probably gonna take some time on this.

                            I experimented a little today with trying to make one-way locks and stuff (like the ones in the sokoban NP-complete papers) but I couldn't find anything... being able to push blocks into a corner kind of removes all the possibilities.

                                45 is WOWzers. I dont get how you can use 20 more steps. Cant even figure out a path like i usually can. Might be the end of the road for me which doesnt surprise me at all. ^_^
