As for why they didn't cut away, I'd pin it on the guy being slow on the draw. I mean, when this was developing live and you were the guy in charge of the cut-off, I think it'd take you longer than 5 seconds to snap out of the shock. Fundamental drama of life...

I'm going to have to lock this thread, as it's quickly getting out of hand. Keep in mind that we do want to maintain a fairly family-oriented atmosphere here and that there are minors around. I first thought that people could handle the news link at their own risk, but it is a bit worrisome when I begin to see posts with mock suicide images. They're not appropriate here. You CAN be banned if you post or even quote provocative images.
