This is pretty crazy. Not nearly as graphic as Budd Dwyer though (not posting, may get banned for being too graphic). It's not surprising at all that someone would do such a thing, but it is strange how they were "prepared" to stop it but someone they couldn't in time? The reporter repeatedly yelled to stop it but they let it go. It was good that he apologized, since younger audiences would be more affected by this.

It was posted on the previous page already. I saw it and was kinda freaked at how graphic it really was, especially as the camera zoomed in on him as well. Holy shit...

You don't have the same level of tolerance than the average people. There's nothing wrong with that. If you watch graphic stuff everyday, you can desensitize yourself over time.

This was far less graphic and scary for kids than some things they show. (9/11 footage for example)

I mean unless your kids know that people shoot themselves in the head to kill themselves ahead of time, you could just make a story up that he was trying to call someone on his phone and passed out? lmao

The Dwyer/Jones vids that were posted are WAY worse and are self-explanatory even for kids.

I realize that watching someone die can be a little bit of a shock, but if you're taking intentional measures to avoid airing something like that how do you fail to carry through with those measures?

As morbid and depressing as it is, it's a part of life I suppose. People die, sucks that so many people watched that on the news because of a failure to follow through with the precautionary measures of the network.
