    School's out for Fall!?

    I'm so freaking happy. SOOOO FREAKY HAPPY-O SOLE MIIIIOOOOOOOOO

    Have you heard about this massive student strike which happened last spring that lasted 6 months? Not all schools were affected, but mine for instace had to stop giving classes for the whole strike period. When the strike ended in August just before we elected our new Prime Minister (caps or not?), we went back to school on August 15th to finish the winter session we had on hold since March 1st. Holy shit, right? And we even managed to cram 15 weeks worth or work in 9 weeks. One month gone, most of the work intact.

    I just came out of that nightmare 10 mins ago. Do you know how happy I am right now? I'm writing this while I'm waiting for my school bus, I'm on my phone, I just had to let it all out. I'm also done with basic course classes since I'm beginning University... But in just a week (oct 1st)! HOLY CRAP.

    Now I'll finally get to start judging that batch. Hope it was worth the wait. I had to endure a barrage of exams today (philosophy 30% physics III 40% advanced physics 30% french general culture about Quebec exam 30%) AND IM HUNGRY AS ALL HELL.

                      Having lived that same "nightmare" but prior to university I have only one thing to say :

                      University is 1000X harder than what you went through. Sorry

                          The nightmare wasn't based on the difficulty of the classes, but mostly on the fact that each time we had an evalution, we didn't know our previous score because the teacher didn't have time to correct us... So we didn't know if we understood or not. It's a pain in a class like philosophy where you either own the group or silently fail behind with each text you do counting for 30%...

                              lol I am probably really horrible but I hope the Ontario schools get sick of the shit and pull a strike. Tension is so high. They've cancelled Elementary school extracurriculars so far. I wonder how far this will go.

                              anyway yay for free time. I want it.
