What kind of people would you have to be to spark controversy over a 3 year old deaf boy using sign language to use his name? His name isn't offensive, and it really shouldn't matter what his hand gestures look like to convey it. He's not trying to make a weapon, he's trying to tell others his name. I highly doubt that any of the children there could have even made the connection from his gesture that "looks like a weapon" to be one anyway (and if they did, it still wouldn't have been a real problem).
