A thread title should show, at a glance, what a thread is about. It should serve as the very briefest tl;dr summary. Quickly glance at a title and know what a thread is about.
In short, a thread title should be briefly informative. But I often see threads with useless titles which convey little to no information. A good topic may get little attention because it is poorly-named.
Also notice how a poorly-named thread will be difficult to find later.
I did not include Veterans since not everyone will have that.
I did not include Newbie Forum since new people may not know any better.
I did not include The Garbage Bin since it may be intentionally awful.
Here are some thread names from the first page in any of the other "fair game" areas at the time of my writing this. You tell me why these are bad.
