So I came up too Calgary yesterday in search of a place to stay for University for September, I was only planning to stay till Sunday, but a lot of stuff has happened in the past 24 hours.
It's my first time in Calgary; ever, and I was so nervous to be going to a massive ass city for the first time in my life. I drove the long 9 hour drive depressed and angry because I got in a huge fight with my mother who threatened to kick me out, etc etc. I hadn't slept in 24 hours (I left at 1AM) and the 9 hour drive felt like it was going to kill me.
So, I arrived in Calgary about 9AM tired, pissed off and sore, and to top it off I got lost trying to find the place I was staying at. 2 hours later I finally found it.
Today I took a walk around the city early in the morning and I realized how great this city was, I was actually happy here; for the first time in my life.
I went and started looking at places, doubting myself that I would find anything for relatively cheap, but to my surpise I did, and I told the lady I would take it.
I debated for a few hours whether I would go back to the hell hole I live in or to move to Calgary ASAP, and after hours of being undecided, I made up my mind and am moving to Calgary August 1st
Can't wait to get away from the unrelenting stress of my bitchy mother and my ****y sister, and I am so excited for University... Life is good.
