Man, I'm mad! Genuinely mad at something for once.
Today, I decided to go play some Disc Golf and since I didn't want to just play alone I called a few friends. No one was available, so I said "F*ck it" and went to play anyways. So I'm standing at the tee off for the first hole, practicing my drive since I haven't played in about a month. I decided to tee off a few times, the first two drives were nothing special, good distance and good form but for the third drive I was using a disc that I hadn't ever thrown before. I looked at the disc and check which way it would curve then aimed and compensated for the wind and what I was aiming for. I drove this disc expecting nothing but a fairly decent drive but my expectations were shattered as it flew perfectly along its flight path before dipping down and curving to the right, right into the basket. I was shocked at first, then excited, finally I was overcome by a mixture of anger and frustration since no one saw it. I finished the rest of the course and was still mad that no one had saw it since now its going to be hard to believe that I got an ace since no one was there to witness it.
Why wasn't anyone there?
Anyone else have a similar experience like this? Something amazing happens but no one was there to witness it but you?
tl;dr - I made a 275 ft disc golf shot and no one saw it, I mad.
