Yes, both. The storms are causing a heckton of damage while rising the humidity of an already hot part of the year. Right now, Virginia alone is getting 102~ F heat with 60% humidity rising the heat index to 110 F. It's gonna last all next week as well. If anyone's on this side of the states, take some water with you wherever you go and drink some before leaving your house.

It's actually been bad enough here [KY] to mess with our power grid. Thankfully, my parents, being the good little consumerist Americans they are, bought a generator about three years back when some 18 inches of snow obliterated the infrastructure as we knew it. And I don't get out much at all due to the total lack of things to do in this city coupled with the fact that it's a stone's throw away from my house and yet inaccessible on foot. So everything's chill, and paradoxically not.

in PA it's kinda nothing more than usual so far. yesterday's early-morning storm was particularly loud, but the temperatures seem to be hovering around mid-90s

Worked outside today on a gokart track full of Exhaust fumes in Atlanta georgia ^-^ 102 degrees with im sure 90-100% humidity

Being a past resident of Arizona, I can understand this statement; I've dealt with 130F heat with no humidity. However, the humidity makes it much more worse, since the heat index is off by 15 degrees in these situations and you dehydrate faster.

Damn I miss home...
