Re: Bought my fourth vehicle....
I do agree that Japanese cars are usually better-made than American ones (I have a Toyota Matrix 2009), although American cars are slowly improving from previous standards.
I just feel that anything over the six-digit mark for mileage is not my first consideration. You still can find low-mileage used vehicles at a good deal that's not too costly.
@25thhour: have you used Kijiji?Comment

Re: Bought my fourth vehicle....
Kijiji is rather lame here because the closest places are in Alberta and I am not willing to do the out of province inspection first off because it costs 200 bucks and they almost always find stuff wrong and you usually end up spending well over a grand.I do agree that Japanese cars are usually better-made than American ones (I have a Toyota Matrix 2009), although American cars are slowly improving from previous standards.

Re: Bought my fourth vehicle....
I had no interest in cars at all, until I was kind of forced to fix my own. It's not all that hard if you know what you're kinda doing. I can now fix my own breaks, ball joints, serpentine belt, battery, starter, change tires,(I can't remember the name of it, but the pieces to fix/align your wheels) I can replace, and change the oil. It comes in handy when you break down, and have a general idea what to look for to fix the problem. I've also saved well over 2,000 dollars fixing crap on my own. Labor adds up, fast. Also, all on the same truck I still have for almost 4 years now. 117,000 miles.Originally posted by thesunfanabsolutely I want to vomit on your face irlOriginally posted by choofIt was like trying to throw logic at a fuckin brick wall lmaoOriginally posted by choofwhats more dense, a black hole or an icyworld fileOriginally posted by CelirraI've never been so disappointed by a man from Alabama than I am right nowComment

Re: Bought my fourth vehicle....
I have a 1996 Dodge Neon right now... looking at selling it and getting a 2004 Mazda RX8 with some decent upgrades to it because the price is good and I need something newer
Leather heated seats, ceramic brake pads, and 18" alloys will be nice if I managed to get better at standard.

Re: Bought my fourth vehicle....
Shoot... my Pontiac Grand Prix is doing just fine at 180,000 miles. Sunfires are generally not so wonderful though.

I was always a fan of RX8s, but all the ones around here are riced out to the max.I have a 1996 Dodge Neon right now... looking at selling it and getting a 2004 Mazda RX8 with some decent upgrades to it because the price is good and I need something newer

Only American car I would ever buy is a Pontiac G8. Other than that, stick to imports.Comment
