Guys, I need to vent my excitement somewhere. Best race of my life... Breakthrough performance doesn't even begin to describe it. I am so so happy and thankful for ... Well everything.

As of right now it is the number one time in the NCAA ( though it won't be for long probably, but it should still be top 15 or so headed into the postseason).

Anyway... Just thought I'd share it with my fellow arrow smashers love you guys

Anyway, nice job. Is that a school record or something?

Last time I bothered to be timed for any sort of distance race, I had something like 8:50 for the mile in eighth grade, and even then I rubber-legged going into the last 1/8 and hearing "eight minutes." I cannot picture myself running a 5K without collapsing at some point, even though my dad's family had a number of athletes.

Woah, considering what my running team used to pull off... This is very impressive.... Miles ahead of what I used to See!

Haha well... It was just a standard track meet at William and Mary. The race itself isn't important other than getting a time for regionals (14:10 or better gets you in). I won the race (I guess I didn't say that) mile splits were 4:29, 4:28, 4:18 ish plus .1 miles. Not sure what other details I can give

Conference meet in two weeks, regionals a month later, then top 12 at regionals go to nationals!

Also, it was second all time at UVA. School record is 1337
