Also recieved loot chest from karka event in the mail since arena net feel sorry for me that i missed the one time even cause of server overload rofl

The development side of GW2 actually is not very focused at all on PvP. They are much more interested in getting out seasonal patches/new pve content it seems.

@end game haters: I think I can attest to some of gw2's failures now that I've been at 80 for a while. However I still don't think it's as horrendous as some make it out to be. Addition of fractals, while a decent idea in concept, came out a little unpolished imo (plus it pissed off like half the players because new item tier lawl), and it just isn't enough in terms of pve end game content.

However, their seasonal events are actually really fun and if they put out major updates on their stuff every month like it's kinda been going, it will be pretty replayable. I wasn't too happy with Lost Shores overall but wintersday has been nice so far

Yeah, I feel the same way. I don't really play too much when there aren't any events going on, but for Halloween, Lost Shores and now Wintersday, I went on pretty much every day something was happening. Lost shores was really dumb though, constant d/cing so I couldn't get my rewards from the chest.

Same thing here, I'm pretty sure they gave it out to anyone that participated who didn't get to loot the chest :P

only good stuff is spvp, the world, and the aesthetic
