      Next games:
Why do you have Earthworm Jim for SNES but not EWJ 1 & 2 for the Genesis?
Why do you have Quackshot for Genesis but not Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow?
Also, Rings of Power or any James Pond, y u no have?

P.S: still have to go to the attic to find the games

Re: Started building a retro game collection...

Because I found Earthworm Jim by total luck at the store for cheap. I don't intend to pay the full price on ebay, though. I'll try to find them in the wild if I can.
I only have Quackshot because I found it at a flea market and the title sounded fun. $2, too. Cold Shadow, though, idk. If I do find it for cheap in a store, I'll pick it up. I doubt I'll buy it online though because I have to get other games, first! :P
I don't have Rings of Power nor James Pond because, I,ll be honest, I have never heard of them :s

Re: Started building a retro game collection...

                SNES:

Pretty much every RPG that came out that wasnt a pc port/ultima clone (so yes, Earthbound, Secret of Mana/Evermore, FF MQ 2 3 etc etc)

                SEGA:
                Crusader of Centy
                Phantasy Star 2-4
                Shining force 1-2
                Sonic 1-3 and knuckles
couple other rpgs that I've forgotten

                PSX:
bunch of RPGs, Suikoden 1-5 and tactics, FF non-greatest hits, Xenogears, Vagrant Story, etc etc

I'd post pictures but I'm too lazy (I wont even list the shit correctly, so...)

Re: Started building a retro game collection...

I still have a working N64 (I originally got it when I was like 9) and I've kept all of the games and boxes and manuals I've ever had for it, save for the ones I sold or exchanged :3

                    These include:

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (gold cartridge)
                    Donkey Kong 64
                    Bomberman 64
                    Bomberman Hero
                    Wave Racer 64
AirBoarder (or whatever it was lol)
                    ...
and a bunch of other, less relevant stuff (I'll update later when I can actually check the shelf I keep the games in :P)

if anyone wants some reproduction carts, that are complete, this site has some pretty good ones. they are pretty freaking awesome games, like clocktower for the snes, and star fox 2. http://www.timewalkgames.com/
just thought some people might be interested in the site.

I have 2 copies. 1 that I played and one that I took care of.

                        Yup, Ogre Battle.

this reminds me...I have a couple of commodore 64 games that my dad has in his closet which I need to take pics of and post it here this weekend. Too bad he no longer has a commodore 64. iirc, a system like that is worth $10k from what he told me, need to clarify it with my dad lmfao.

Re: Started building a retro game collection...

I bought MUSHA off ebay a week ago. I saw a copy with box and manual in fairly good condition for $165. Considering how ridiculous prices have gone up for this recently ($200 just for the cartridge), I jumped on it.

From my calculations, it either had to arrive yesterday or today. I went to the mail at 8:00 AM but it wasn't delivered. I went somewhere and came back at noon, there was a paper on my doorknob saying I had to go pick up a package.

I played some Mass Effect 2 this afternoon~

At 4:00 PM, I decided to go to the mail to claim my package. They said they didn't have it yet and might have it after 8:00 PM tonight. What sucks is that my father bought something online too last week: cycling gear. So I now have to wait approximately 4 more hours to go claim something that might not be the greatest 2D shooter of all time.

                                ugh ^v^

                                EDIT, @Midigami
