There's a guy on ebay called Yamatoku who's a Japanese seller who sells a LOAD of cool stuff. Lots of my loose Jap carts came from his little bundles, and he has SFamicoms somewhat frequently. Probably worth a watch as I imagine it's as tough for you to get a Jap one as it is for me to get a US one :<

I love BoF, it's easily my favorite game series. Great collection!
I'd not even heard of this! Is this just the whole game done with a non-retarded English translation that actually makes more sense? Always nice to meet another BoF fan too :3 Which was your fave?

I also have a LOT of N64 games in my closet. Not many of those are true rarities though, mostly they have high value (Mario Party 3, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario 64). And yes, I've beaten practically all of these games. The only ones I don't think I could complete was Super Ghouls N' Ghosts (lol) and Ren & Stimpy. I don't just collect them :P

That's a really good collection! Almost every single game there is a AA/AAA title! Kinda jealous :3 Mario RPG is one of the titles I really really want to play! I don't really like playing games on emulators, and none of the universal adapters I've owner were released late enough to be able to play Mario RPG.

Does anybody ever see cheap US SNESs for sale over there? I might be interested in doing a deal with somebody dependant on shipping. I can't seem to get any prospects on ebay for less than £90-100

SNES has some of the most expensive collectibles, so I guess the prices are high pretty much everywhere.

Re: Started building a retro game collection...

D'aww, so even the console itself is still pretty hefty to get ahold of over there? I guess you're usually looking at £30-40 for a boxed set with a game in good condition over here.

Just got back from an anime con, picked up a few things in the bring and buy. Forked over ~40 quid for...

                  Pokemon Gold (GB, cart only)
.Hack first and second titles (PS2, NTSC, Sealed)
Parappa the Rappa 2 (PS2 CIB)
3 common jap Virtual Boy games (CIB)
Battle Stadium DON (Jap, GC, CIB)
                  Pokemon Black (CIB)
                  Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days (CIB)

Certainly not super bargains, but fairly cheap overall

I see SNES's for like 20-30 bucks, usually.

Well there's a load of flea markets in my area that have like 20+ SNES consoles sitting around. If I ever picked one up I'd just ship it to you for nothing since they're like 5 bucks each anyway lol

So is this game really worth $160?

My cousins apparently have this game, boxed, and bought when it came out long, long ago. I was surprised to see a price tag like this being sold today at a store.

According to recent completed auctions cartridges alone with dust covers sell for over $100.
Complete in original box could fetch 160.

How come that's in a VHS case? Is that just how the store does things with unboxed games?
