I'm not one to make excuses, but this was before I "tweaked" my game to run more smoothly. If I surfed again today, I'd have an easier time due to less stuttering.

What you should have done is talked to about five or six of those "sub-for-sub" channels, get some free subscribers before uploading the video, that would have boosted your views. One of my friends did that and he now has 700+ subscribers who watch his cruddy HyperCam videos. o_o

SO how do you win a round of surfing?

Some surf maps are just where your goal is to get to certain parts of the map and there's things like teleporters that lead to enemy spawns for you to spawn **** them or something.
There's this one surf server that I played on CS:S all the time where it was an easy to surf map but you were supposed to surf it, hit the teleporter at the end while keeping your momentum up, and resurf it again to get your player to move as fast as possible.
It sounds easy, but holy **** competing for the top rank on that server with all these great ass surfers is hard as ****.
