    Killzone 2: Heroic Survivor Trophy

    Okay, I'm nearly done with this. I'm in the palace, already heading to the second-floor balcony. Only problem is, once I stay up there for a while, Radec's support waves flank/wreck Rico and I in seconds. I *try* to fight them off (seriously, I do), but it always ends in Rico getting killed (lol, surprise) and me getting killed.

    halp, FFR? I really want to finish this already. ;___;

      Look on YouTube for some gameplay. You should be able to pick up some tips on how to survive. I beat the game a long time ago so I don't remember much, but I recall the actual battle with Radec was easier than killing his troops. When you get to Radec, pick up a shotgun and be aware he likes to teleport behind you.

          The guys who flank you on the *bridges* left and right is your problem, yes?

          If so, run at them with the knife. Or better yet, learn when they spawn and meet them at the staircases. Just stay in the back, hit and run the guys on the ground and try to memorize the spawns.

          I died an ungodly sum of times there. The checkpoints were awful, too. Only reason I tried the knife was boredom/frustration at how impossible it seemed. Worked for me, though. Have the Platinum trophy on that game.

              Okay, I'm done giving up on this game now and I've hopped back onto it. I'll try what andy-o24 just said and see what happens there. If anything else, I'll play it by ear.

              ONE HOUR LATER: I'm lasting a little longer than I used to, but then I'm pretty hopeless when the troops with SMGs and knives come in. I just need to be prepared for those a little better and I might just be golden.

                  Yeah, consider playing it on an easier difficulty with level/chapter (or whatever) select and memorize when and what enemies come at you from where. Then develop a strategy and implement it on the hardest difficulty.
