I'll probably see how it does too. I can't stand when a console comes out and a year later it comes out slim, faster, a cooler color, and at a lower price. It's pretty annoying, I don't mind waiting on this one.

1. I don't know how to troll.

2. Not a fan of the Wii in any way. Leave motion gaming to rhythm games. Maybe Zelda is fine but otherwise no. The 3DS is ok, but not OMFG WTF impressive either. 3D is still worlds away from being any good. I think the "hardcore" market right now is computer gaming, so good luck keeping up with SC2, which pretty much took over Korea, so unless this console is capable of taking over a country...

uh, wha...? motion controls have almost nothing to do with rhythm games. that is, unless you are including the utterly irrelevant Wii Music.

I strongly disagree that PC gamers represent the entirety of the hardcore market. there are a ton of people pouring a ton of hours into online gaming over Xbox Live and PSN. I haven't heard anything about Ninty revamping their current (i.e. broken) format for online play. I think that would be a huge step toward coercing some people who play 2+ hours of games daily to pick up Nintendo's next console.

otherwise, I see where you're coming from. it sure sounds like trolling when you automatically replace "I won't like it" with "it will fail" in your posts, though.

Same reasons I own a Wii and a 3DS. I don't look at the multiplayer aspect when buying a console. I have a 360 for that.
The good games are often few and far apart, but are worth waiting for.

So... any speculation on how the games would function? Zelda hasn't appealed to me since Wind Waker. Mario Kart hasn't appealed to me since DS. The Wii's casual direction left me sour--not just it's casualness but it's lack of precision in its wireless technology. I simply don't enjoy operating the Wii because of that. Even the Kinect seemed imprecise. Before they release whatever the console may be, if it doesn't feel complete in whichever direction they take it, I won't really care too much about it.
