Regular servers are rather hard to find without modding. Some are out there, just hard to find. My clan server has NON-Steam people playing on it, and it's 16k. It's close to regular servers with no gay mods, so yeah.

Yeah, I mean people like se7en sins and the like have ruined the game. I'll take a look to find these servers, but another reason I play source is because I'm too lazy to look for them. Playing in a lot of WCG tournaments has made me accustomed to basic 5v5 matches. I mean playing some teams from Japan that are fine-tuned to the extreme really puts you into shape. The only problem is that WCG has turned more and more to 1.6 rather than Source, which is understandable. Therefore, I've been really slammed into playing in LANChamp tournaments, which are absolutely horrendous, and involve some of the most pathetic, overrated teams since Dynamic in 2009.

When i get money ill buy the game. I really would buy it but to be honest the graphics look REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY bad.

Like graphics ever meant anything.

that people still buy cs in this time and day like who doesn't have cs (aside from 12 years olds that just got their first pc),also like yeah of course the gfx are bad, the game is freaking old lol, I still remember the good old 1.5 days :>

You can still play CS 1.5 online. I did from time to time. I have to re-install it.

1.5 isn't different from 1.6 all too much iirc. Just the number, I presume?

Are there actually decent servers in 1.5?

HEY GUYS remember when the valve value pack came out with half-life, blue shift, opposing force and counter-strike, I remember buying it, I still have the cd's somewere, to bad some ****ing *** hacked the steam acount were I added the cd keys around 2007 >

I should actually find the booklet with the serials and contact steam, then I got another acount with cs YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH

Yeah I probably won't end up buying CS 1.5. I mean I've blown enough money on video games, what with XBL and Steam combined. I don't think I need to add another penny to the sum of my substantial gaming prices.

Not sure how many decent servers there are. I find servers with Xfire. It lists every alive server, so you just pick the one you want to join and it works. But note, that servers are using WON 2, which means you have to update your cs or hl client to a certain version and stuff. There's a whole community on this WON 2 stuff.

1000fps ny servers are ait most of the time


best server i've ever played in was some velocity server back in 2007 that literally everything reg'd it was awesome. they don't service good servers anymore

Yeah there were a lot of good, normal cs 1.6 in Chicago with no mods, and perfect registry. I miss the good ol' days,.
