Defending combat arms, hahah.
Superfreak and LJRoX, we should play this kid and wreck him in CS. Come play us. I suck at 1.6, but I'm willing to play you with a bunch of others. If you don't have 1.6 get it. Or you can 1v1 me in Source and see the definition of pro gamers.Sent from my iPhoneComment

I wouldn't mind some friendly competition.
And here's my proof of my 81-8 score.Attached Files

Re: Counter-Strike 1.6 Thread
Egh, it actually takes somewhat of a good PC to run CS 1.6 perfectly. My PC is about 5 or 6 years old and I still get less than 15 FPS in smoke grenades. So I couldn't really tell you.

Re: Counter-Strike 1.6 Thread
Okay, no problem. I'll try and run it on my old laptop. But when I do get my custom built back I'll play for sure.
I love it because it can run source at like 200 fps on regular servers, and locally it can run 250+ (high settings). I just love to boost fps because I can haha.Sent from my iPhoneComment

Yeah, it's quite an old game. Before I piss anyone off, I just give y'all a warning that I'm extremely competitive when it comes to games like counter-strike.
Counter-Strike source has better graphics, but LJRoX makes a good point about it being sluggish. It takes a higher-grade PC to run CS:S.
1.6 may be a little less CPU heavy considering that the textures are quite less defined and that the graphics are clearly less superior due to the timestamp between the two. In terms of versatility, Source is really good due to Garry's Mod.
1.6 is an extremely good game if you can find the appropriate server. A lot of them have been wrecked by stupid zombie mod games and Call of Duty Mods. A question to all: Does 1.6 still host a fair amount of regular servers for people who don't put up with the modding crap?Sent from my iPhoneComment

Re: Counter-Strike 1.6 Thread
Regular servers are rather hard to find without modding. Some are out there, just hard to find. My clan server has NON-Steam people playing on it, and it's 16k. It's close to regular servers with no gay mods, so yeah.Yeah, it's quite an old game.
