Got my copy of Black, somehow found a Wi-fi spot for the Liberty Pass and caught 2 level 4's on Route 1. It's been so long.. I forgot what it's like playing with Normal types. x]

Update: Transfered all three shiny dogs over, also got Victini. Going to Catch Zoroark and receive Zorua shortly. So how is everyone liking the new game? Same ol' stuff?

IIRC, the American Celebi event ends today.

I only have one DS, so transferring the shiny dogs is going to be a pain in the neck for me, but I still have some minor victories: Jolly Sandile, bitches. Max out its Speed EVs and slap a Choice Scarf on that bad boy when it turns to Krookodile: Suddenly it outruns an unboosted Ninjask of the same level. 8)

I've pretty much stopped liking Pokemon in general. They were awesome games, but now they're just far too simple (I'm not saying they weren't always, I just need more out of a game now). There's no substance to a Pokemon game. "Beat these trainers. Grind. Beat the gym leader. Repeat". It takes more than that for me to like turn-based strategy games. Like some strategy, other than Water beats Fire.

You obviously haven't delved very deep into the games to make such a false statement.

I've been playing the pokemon games for years, 100% completion on Red/blue/yellow/Silver/gold/fire red, I even EV trained my teams for a while. Enlighten me on what I've missed.
