Just a random question, but does anyone here have Pokemon Online? It pretty much has prepared me for most of the BS abilities of the 5th gen like perversity and the one that prioritizes all non attacking moves. Would be nice to battle while I'm waiting for the actual games to release. Also special attacks on tyranitar suck 95% of the time due to the fact of auto sandstorm giving it a spdef boost.

I hope to get the game, but I probably won't soon. Maybe later, I might even get the 3DS. Yes, you can turn off the 3D feature if desired.

Pre-ordered Black. Now to wait until Sunday and get it, download Victini, and all that other fun stuff.
Also, picked up Celebi for my Platinum file. Looks like the total amount of Pokémon I'm swapping over is: 463+28 = 491/6 = 81.83.
82 times I'm going to have to play that minigame...

Yeah I was kidding though i wouldn't play with a team of all the same Pokemon that is no fun. I honestly have no clue what i will use yet. Way to many new Pokemon for me to possibly know yet.

No but seriously out of all the starters gotta go with the grass one on this game.

I have to agree. The fire type looks like it's going to be a slow type based on def/sp.def (that's a first), and the water looks decent. I definitely want the grass though, when hoenn came out it looked like treecko would've been a grass type meant to have physical attributes/attacks. I was kinda right (leaf cutter) but it was kinda weak to be honest. I think the new one may fair better, looks really offensive.

LOL I'd wait. I'm sure there are pokemon you'll encounter again that you'd prefer. I hear there are special pokemon you'll find that have moves they wouldn't normally have (dream world or something). I'd play the game thoroughly, beat it, and then see what you really need. You could probably trade the ones you don't need through GTS.

I might, I'm not quite sure yet. I've missed the last few simply cause I'm still blown by how many pokemon there are now, and this just increases it to 649. Out of the new ones though, I'd have to say my favorite will probably be this buffalo with an afro.

I have a slight game OCD.. I have a habit of breeding Pokémon so I can have one version of everything for my box.
Ex: 1 Bulbasaur, 1 Ivysaur, 1 Venusaur, etc.

I know, but do you really expect black and white to only have the new pokemon? I'm sure the safari will have rare kanto pokemon and other things. It's like you're saying you're only going to enjoy the new pokemon before the elite four, and not catch anything after becoming champion. That's usually when you cna catch all the pokemon from the other regions.

OCD? Nah, it's cool. My OCD comes when I breed like 30 charmanders to finally get one with the nature and characteristic I want. Then I go to battle Tower (Platinum) and ask the guy about it's potential. He has to be the best underrated resource in the game. I had a perfect Trapinch, and when it was a lvl. 50 Flygon, it was REALLY weak. I went to him and he said it was below average potential. Then I brought him a breeded rhyhorn with rock head and the right characteristics and nature, and he said it had outstanding potential. Sure enough, I had a bad ass Rhyperior with Solid Rock when I was done. Trust me, even with EV training, you need to use this guy. He's the difference between winning or losing against a frontier brain.

That's just touching the surface of my OCD haha.
