So, anyone have any thoughts on the Shin Megami Tensei game Persona 4?

Other than I REALLY want to play it now that I beat P3 portable? Not at the moment lol. I feel very late to the game just NOW playing the Persona series

The last boss was tough, the true boss was pretty easy, and the secret boss is ungodly. Good music though!

This. Though Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 together beat any other Shin Megami Tensei game.

Yeah, the last boss was easy though. Just have something like Tam Lin.
The true boss, Tam Lin again, but for the second boss, use Sigfried with Regenerate 2 and Regenerate 3.
The secret boss is near impossible for me, even after grinding for hours.

How different is the P3 portable from the PS2 ver? Is it worth getting if you alrighty own the ps2 one?

^ The only real bonus of the portable version is that you can play as a feminine character, and they improved the battle system. But, the graphics were VERY downgraded(when you're not in Tartarus, its a "point and click" game), and all of the anime cutscenes were taken out. I have P3FES, and if you own that, I personally see no reason to get the portable version(unless you just want it that bad).

I just started P4 a few weeks ago. I like it and am totally enjoying it, but I agree that P3 is better.

Not really, just that you can become lovers with the male characters. Even Ken, which is kind of funny.

I see no point in getting the PSP version if you have the PS2 version. :/
