You were talking about NX about how it's suppose to make you superior.
I was talking about why it wasn't, and gave some background information behind it.

Nice attempt to change the subject and act as if what I was saying was irrelevant to this thread, but it wasn't. And besides, why say this

I want to talk about Maplestory, not Nexon. Every Mapler knows that Nexon is a horrible company, so why restate it? You can talk about MapleStory without talking about Nexon. It was done before Big Bang, it can be done after.

As well, if you want to keep the argument going, attack me as a person less, please. I'm trying hard not to insult you in any way, so at least give some form of courtesy.

There's a reason why 2x cards don't exist in kMS. The game is already too easy.

In my opinion, the Big Bang changed the game for the worse. New players were complaining that they couldn't do the end game content.
Of course they can't play the new end game content when they just started.

For years, MapleStory ran purely off of cosmetics.
Nexon NA saw how they could get away with nickle-and-diming the player through gachapon, then it all went to hell.

The point of NX was never to 'become superior'.
However, the whinny newgens had a different idea. This is why I quit gMS. Nexon NA is a horrible company.

Letting casuals run the game is no different than letting casuals ruin the game.

Please tell me, is mentioning Nexon banned from this thread? I find it hard to talk about a game and it's paid-for currency without mentioning the company that it's coming from.

Ok. It is my fault that I posted that; it went off topic. Sorry for that.

Back to game-changing NX, I guess. Just think of it as the cheat sheet of MapleStory. He/she may be able to max level a character much easier than you can, but you worked hard for what meager amount you have. So really, you are more industrious than him/her, and that should make you feel good

If that doesn't help, go play on a 1x rates private server. You typically get NX for free, so it's not really a big deal anymore.

You could look at it that way. After the Big Bang, I remember seeing 12xs that have never fought Zakum before, or weren't even fully equipped. It was kind of depressing hearing them ask me questions a 7x should be able to answer.

I just like having something to show off for all of my hard work. If I've spent 12 hours a day grinding for a few weeks, I'd like to have something special to show for it. Hopefully the new Lv. 250 cap brings what I'm looking for. I can't wait to find out what's behind the door to the future.

Yeah, the new level cap is going to completely screw over FangBlade, which I really want to see :P From word-of-mouth, I've heard that 250 needs more than 10 times more EXP than getting from 1 to 200, so there shouldn't be any 250s for at least 1 month

i started playing this the other day.

5x in less than a day wtf has maple come to, i remember back when friggin zakum was the hardest boss in the entire game.

what was that even, like .38 or something? i can't even remember

It's possible to get 200 in a day and a little now, if you go non-stop and use the optimal training route.

The bosses are way too easy now because of people hitting max; maybe put it so that bosses use damage reflect, once every time you remove 1/10 of their HP (1/3 for zakum). That would make him much more annoying to people who can kill him quickly, so the majority of them would stop killing him, or go kill Chaos Zakum.

nope wont let me because im outside of service region even though the account im logging into was made in US in 2006(or 07) and i have over 30 chars on it lol gg nexon

ps: is it possible for north american players to play on eMS or will they also get region blocked -- oh well gonna try buster on ems
