I disagree, well I agree L4D Characters > L4D2 ones, but L4D2 has more stuff to do (I love Scavenge and the weekly Mutations)

Just played through some Oddworld Abe's Odyssey. This game is so weird, yet awesome.

Ahh man, I downloaded this of the PSN store a while back, I still get stuck on the same place I did 10+years ago! Epic game, though.

I'm playing Mw2. When I first got it I got to 1st prestige 50 or so and then I stopped until like 2 weeks ago & now I'm playing again. ;o

I've been doing reviews for the music games that have launched this month. Right now I'm in the middle of DJ Hero 2 and DJ Max Portable 3, but I'll have Rock Band 3 in the near future. While technically it's not a music game, I was able to go through Rock of the Dead as well.

Aside from that, I found Where the Wild Things Are at a dirt-cheap clearance price at Target. I thought "what the hell" and picked it up and finished it yesterday. I have a small stack of cheap games I bought during GameStop's recent buy 2, get 1 I haven't touched yet, so those may be likely candidates for gameplay when I get time.

It's very different, for sure. Nothing like the old Dreamland games, Superstar (Ultra), etc.

Kirby no longer has his staple transformation ability (instead whipping stuff) so the game feels a lot more like it's just a straight platformer. That said, the game has some really neat gimmicks so the game doesn't feel stale and it does this well. I guess the trade-off for the transformations was superior level designs.

The game's challenge comes in the form of a ranking system per level and treasures, so it's actually dead easy compared to previous Kirby games since you can't.. well, die.

I like the game but I've only played it with a friend so I can't tell you much about the solo experience.
