Re: Vindictus
Hell, I don't know. Maybe people call Vindictus an MMO just for ****s and giggles? Also, I think part of it is because Vindictus is operated by a free-to-play MMO company, and its community, being used to calling games MMOs thanks to Nexon, proceeds to refer to Vindictus as an MMO.
In my opinion, if it is a game that is massive (instance-based or not), supports multiple players, and is an online game, it can be considered as an MMO. But, that's just me.
@OneHandNow: Well, the combat is fluid; fighting is repetitive, but fun; fun and/or intense boss battles; the list goes on, pretty much. And, like I said, I wouldn't call Vindictus awesome just on those characteristics, but I do consider Vindictus a good game, and something worth checking out to see if it pertains to your interests. Not to mention that there's plenty of new content coming eventually, just as long as Nexon doesn't hold back content like with Audition when they still had it under their belt.
