Bananas are only good to an extent, One a player learns how to counter them with a character, they can become a hindrance as much as they can be a benefit.

yeah Just use them against them is what I've learned lol or use a character with a reflector like Pit, Zelda or with Mk you can Air Camp ;P

I'm not playing that well TBH >,<" Lol those times when I did -> B with snake was meant to be grenade and my Up smash's that werent dashes were supposed to be utilt, ughh wifi ;P your best is G&W, suprised your jiggs was good ;o lol /scary

A lot of the stuff I was doing kept getting messed up too due to time delay in movements so it's all good. Nintendo really fu*ked up with brawl's wifi. It's so garbage it's unbelievable.

Melee is pretty much all I play as far as smash bros is concerned. I sold my brawl game so I've been using a borrowed copy. Wave dashing is hard to learn how to integrate into effective strategy and gameplay. To actually pull it off isn't too terribly hard. Melee takes true skill. Sakurai really really didn't want brawl to be a competitive game like melee because he's a fu*cking idiot.

ggs and use fox in melee. he can get some easy kills or sheik she doesn't need l canceling as much as the others

I can see why you'd believe that, but I think the real thing is that they simply worked to remove unintended things for the sequel. You like these unintended things, but they were unintended nonetheless.

Like yeah, you're probably right to a degree with them not wanting it to be too competitive (I'm thinking about smash balls and final smashes here, especially how a person who is losing will get a free final smash), but that's not why they went out of their way to attempt to make wavedashing no longer possible.

I wasn't even referring to wave dashing when I was talking about making the game less competitive. The game itself is so floaty. It was done to make the game more player friendly for beginners and make beginners think they're somewhat talented when they're really not at all. A neutrals, Ike's for example, is ridiculous. You tap A really fast to get out of a bad situation and it works. That takes no skill. Anyone can mash the A button. Chain grabbing with characters like D3 and falco is stupid too. Ok, were just gonna give you a freebie 46%, just make sure you know how to grab, throw down and dash after to repeat the process. Oh, don't worry, if you don't make all the way to the edge, this invisible ghost will help you make it there as long as you're somewhat close. Also, forget about quick kills through skilled comboing, were gonna take that out completely. Instead we're gonna make it so matches drag on forever making 4 stock matches last an hour. I hate brawl, but I will play it when someone talks **** or if it's on at someones house. Melee is just so so much more competitive. It never gets boring.

korny, I'm sure chain grabs were not intentional, especially to the degree that they're used. It's a terrible oversight, but there is no way they foresaw people using Dedede the way he is.

I figure the inevitable Smash Bros. sequel that comes next will fix issues with chain grabbing and other ridiculous ****, but yet, introduce other new ridiculous ****.
