    Kickin' It Old School..

As you may know from my thread posted in the Chit Chat forum, I have been a member since April, 2005. However, I haven't been online since early 2006.

    With that being said..

I recently bought a 10 inch HP netbook. I tried downloading MapleStory onto the laptop, but it for some reason, won't work.

I looked up the error code in the search engine, and it relayed to me that the issue was that I was unable to adjust my screen resolution to fit the game onto the screen.

I looked for about TWO hours, on how to resolve this problem, and determined that I was missing a driver. I downloaded and installed the proper driver for my PC, and after restarting, thought that it would take effect. I was wrong.

With that being said, I need to know, is it because I have a 10 inch netbook? Is there any way I can adjust it? It's currently set at 1024x572. I need to get it to 1024x772. Or so the game says.

I was told that I could hook up an external monitor, however, I would prefer not to do that, as it kills the portability of the computer, which is the sole reason I bought something this small.

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

There were reasons for me choosing the Netbook, and I could probably take it back as I haven't had it very long. It's just that I adore it other than the fact that I can't get that one game to dowloan and become playable on it.

I'm not an avid online gamer so I didn't consider it something that needed a lot of attention when purchasing the computer.

Anyways, thanks for all the responses! I guess I'll have to invest in something else, lol.

Try downloading DXWND and resizing Maplestory before it loads with the program, it should work.

Ok, not to sound too slow, but how would I resize MapleStory?

I downloaded the program, and it seems as though it would work.
