FF7-2 or FF10-2

Square said that because FFX was made very recently, a direct sequel would be easy and not as expensive to make compared brand new game...
due to the fact that FF7 is old as far as modern rpgs go, making a direct sequel to it would be almost the same as making a whole new game...
I forget where I read this, but that was Square's reasoning for making FFX-2 instead of another FF7...

Well as long as they keep characters like Cloud and them, it'd be like the comeback of Sephiroth or somethin, or instead of Cloud they could have like, Zack, and they could have like a reincarnated Aries and stuff like that, but they'd also need to keep the Materia, that was the one of the best parts of it...

Well.....there was a METEOR, fools. It fucking destroyed the world, so unless Cloud and the gang were kept in stasis, they would be very dead aftrer the world was revegitated (a few hundred years after, like when you see REd and his kids). I really WOULD like a sequel, though.

yah besides they left the story open for a sequel.Making a sequel to FF7 woyld be plain stupidity.Besides I have heard FFX-2 in really quite good.

dante is right, a sequel to ff7 would be pretty stupid...
they meant for the game to have a solid ending...
they would have to go back and tell everyone, "Uh, diregard the last half of disc 2 and all of disc 3, and here's a continuation of the story."
as much as I love FF7, a sequel just wouldn't work...
I'm content with everyone's cameos in Kingdom Hearts...

.....I have to agree with QB.... That is the single most stupid idea of a video game I've ever heard.... And I've heard of things like Underwater Aquatic Games for SNES.... Jesus that game sucked
