Midnight is a sub ocean, but I stopped playing on it for two reasons.
(1) It's underpopulated =/
(2) I had to pay money

I'm playing on Viridian now (which is a dub ocean). It's one of the most populated oceans.

I don't remember the maximum poe I've had on Viridian... Probably a few hundred thousand. I know on Midnight the maximum I had was 1 million. So 800k is right up there with me.

Kinda sucks that they didn't allow you to play again (with stat-wipe of course). They probably only did it for that one group of people, because they banned like over 500 people, which is a pretty significant number of people for them. If they didn't allow them to play again, then they would lose out on all that money.

Oh wow I remember playing the game in like end 2006... yeah I was like 12. I had to stop it because one of my "friend" asked me my pw and I gave it to him like a retard.
The game was pretty cool otherwise, even though I think I'd have left it by myself since.

Oh wow. I definitely don't go back that far. I created my first pirate (Ninty on Middy) in fall of 2007.

I'm guessing they don't give out/sell lifetime subscriptions anymore either? That's just awesome though. I wish I had one :P I switched from Middy to Viridian because of money. With Dubs I can just pay some in-game cash to get priviledges instead of paying real money like I was doing.

Yeah they don't offer those subscriptions anymore. The deal was that Beta testers got their first 2 full years for 50 bucks, and Alpha testers got a lifetime subscription for 50 bucks. Everybody else had to pay normal subscription rates from day one.

As a result, I pretty much had no reason to go to any green oceans. Micropayments on top of the subscription was just silly, so it was Midnight and Cobalt for me.

The reasons I had for quitting had nothing to do with the game itself, and don't really bear recounting here.

Made an account in 2002 or '03 back when there were only 3 oceans (Viridian, Cobalt, and I forgot)
Stopped playing it cuz it got old, same old games over and over, pointless objectives/ w/e. I was ulti sfer tho
