Can't wait. Looks amazing, I'll be doing the same thing with it that I did with Platinum; get the Japanese version of the game before it's even released in Japan (which is like 6 months before it's released in the US) and I'll play my heart away, seeing how Pokemon GS were THE best games in the series, period.

argument: back in the day, the new pokemon coming out were a HUGE deal since the craze had been on for a while with the first 151. The game delivered the same classic gameplay with added features for pokemon (aka holding, happiness etc.) Also, the game allowed you to go back in the kanto region to obtain 16 badges. This idea was probably one of the main reasons the game was so awesome and kept die-hard fans well entertained for a while. It kept all the familiar characters from red/blue and carried on the story 3 years later. You also got to chill with Lance outside of the elite four. Like its fucen LANCE gaize. This game also has the most epic pokemon last battle. Battle vs. Red. Like holy **** who would've expected it? Pikachu lvl 81. Nobody had ever seen a trainer battle with such high leveled pokemon in-game. The soundtrack was also quite awesome with its classic 8bit tunes. In all, this game is ****ing epic and holds most of my childhood memories along with red/blue.

I forgot, the music was great in gold/silver. I hope they still keep the music awesome and make it more awesome.

I think that they used Platinum as a filler to put more time into these versions. I still can't wait for it to come out! D:

I haven't touched a game since ruby and sapphire. I just might have to pick this one up, I remember destroying my brother with Ho-Oh

Hopefully I'll have a DS by the time this comes out in the States lol :/

I still have my gold version and play it on my GBC, but never use Ho-oh or Lugia because 5 PP moves suck, and Lugia had a horrible attack/special attack stat for a flying/physic type :/

Lugia's a tank, not a sweeper, noob. Best one back then, too (IIRC).

Why does gold suck? Both legendaries were in each. I liked getting a lvl 70 lugia in the gold version.

This is why you save all your pp ups.

Can't wait for the game. G/S were my favorites, and i still have a copy of silver sadly i no longer have a GBA or GBC. I even had a jp copy of silver at one point.
