has anybody here ever used any of the RPG Makers? im looking for someone to help me because im trying to make a game on my own and i am having a lot of trouble.

This is the first time I've ever heard of it. I've only ever use a program called game maker, and that was a long time ago with a really old version of it.

No.
No one has ever used RPG Maker before. You are the first in the history of humanity to discover it.
If you want help using a specific software, particularly when you're so aimless in your asking for help, I suggest you search out a message board or website dedicated to that software. You will not get the help you're looking for here.
ps if I recall, the software is very hard to work in, so if you're stupid, you simply won't be able to do anything of any merit. Good luck though.Comment

Well im making an MMO game and i need a lot of help with it. The editor for the game is very much like RPG Maker. i can pm u all the info if interested in helping or just to see what i have done alreadyComment

My friend spent COUNTLESS hours creating a game on RPG maker and it was really fun and funny at the same time. He had to show me some of the secrets he made because some were just absolutely ridiculous.Comment

Yah and this is where I disagree with you. Tinker around with a low-level program for a while and you will eventually be able to turn out something decent. Sure, it wouldn't be commercial quality, but it's a start. A lot of people have ideals about what a good game should be, but until they really make it, they have no idea how it's going to play out.

well i have been tinkering a bit and i pretty much know how to do a lot of the different functions of the engine. it is not very hard to figure it out but to make anything worthwhile yes you need to take up a lot of time.Comment

My friend Dylan used it to make a 1984 game. It was pretty funny, because it was just a battle scene:
***WINSTON USED A THRUST ATTACK!***
***JULIA HAS FAINTED***
It took hours to make the pixelated characters look naked. Hours.

its not that hard. all you need to do is sit down for about an hour and you get the general i dea of how the entire engine works.Comment
