    WiiHD & DSi

Well Nintendo is finally getting into HD! I totally can't wait for the WiiHD console as it will probably run with Unreal Engine 4, and that would be totally epic. I would finally buy a Wii because, though graphics don't play a huge role, it would look better and because of the rumoured hard-drive there would be LOADS of room for updates.

This "WiiHD" discussion is no more valid than discussion about the next Playstation or Xbox. It's pure speculation. Furthermore, that is DEFINITELY not going to be what Nintendo calls its next console. Really, calling it "WiiHD" implies that it is just like the Wii, but with HD. Do you understand what HD is? HD just means higher resolution image output to the television; it means NOTHING as far as graphics are concerned (aside from the fact that the hardware has to generate a larger amount of pixels). They could make Wiis have a HD display, and the polygon counts would still be low.

I want a DSi simply for the fact the GBA slot isn't there anymore.
Why would you put that in your signature? You've lost your signature rights for a month. (You'll get them back on March 10th, 2012.)

I read a ways into it, it's also on XPlay, and it's more than just that.
They are planning up upgrading everything on the insides, so we can assume this will be their next console.

I get the feeling that you didn't read what I said, or simply didn't understand.

IN OTHER WORDS, they're not going to call a next generation system "WiiHD" when it definitely not going to be just Wii with HD display. If the title "WiiHD" were to be applied to anything, I would rather think that Nintendo would be producing suped-up Wiis for THIS GENERATION that just have HDMI ports on them or can put component to better use than the current Wii. But that wouldn't be coming out in 2011... not unless the Wii is going to have a lifespan of like 10 years.

And yeah, this is 1000000000% speculation. It's obvious Nintendo will be doing a new console eventually, but there isn't any grounds for discussion. At least before we've had PROJECT DOLPHIN or NINTENDO REVOLUTION to talk about. This is just bull****.
