I always read your username as "Fantisti-Cone" instead of "Fantastic-One". I like Fantasti-Cone better.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."

"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor

This makes me want to go back and finish this game... I got about half the platinums but I couldn't figure out how to shave off those few tenths to push me over the edge.

I was hooked on this game from the first time I played it. The whole blow **** up to save the world concept struck me as awesome lol

I used to have this but I couldn't get past this one weird level. Definitely in my Top 10 N64 games.

Same, I actually figured that trick out after I got them all XD

Re: Blast Corps; who has played it?

By the way, I found the larger pacman-like maze level (Gibbon's Gate) to be the very hardest level in the game. For the longest time I had achieved all platinums except for this one and finally I achieved this one as well. You may want to save that one for last.

By the way, on any RDU collection levels, you are best off to remotely trigger rather than trying to literally run over everything, and the larger vehicles are better at remote trigger. So you'll want to pick the bulldozer when you can on those levels as it has great control and is large. In the cases where you can't, stick with the dump truck. As tempted as you may be, do not pick any of the cars on these levels as you really have to almost run right over those things to trigger with the cars.

And in case I wasn't clear earlier, a little bit of bump/wiggle to your vehicle is as good as being airborne in most cases. Keep it in mind. (Also keep in mind little bumps in the roads that you can take advantage of for a little wiggle). You do want to get in the air but you don't want to go too high into the air because it takes longer to fall down. On the other hand you don't want to be so low to the ground that you only half-plow through a building then bump when you could have gone a little higher to plow all the way through. Also the bump ramps generally perform better if you hit them straight on (perpendicular-like) as with the buildings. That gives less slowdown and reasonable air, usually. Exception: On Mars you want to hit those things really awkwardly so it shoots you very high into the air as you want air here, moreso than speed.

Also to keep in mind is that both pacman-like levels have patterns to them. Just because you are going the right pattern doesn't necessarily mean it'll work though because sometimes the trucks take unexpected turns. So sometimes it pays to stall a bit.

Another really hard level was Venus, so you may want to save that one for later as well.

This is just a very fun game and I have enjoyed playing through it many times. The storyline is lame/wack but the gameplay is where it's at and this game has excellent gameplay and challenge.

One last thing I forgot to mention is take advantage of nondestroyable terrain like trees and railroad tracks. If you are sliding against such as you go into something else you'll usually be able to slide right through it, destroying the building parts without a problem.

I still own it along with a bunch of other games for my N64. Very good game. Tough when you wanted to get all the medals. Pretty sure I've got at least 90% of platinum medals.

Some of them I remember as being the most frustrating things in existence. One of the specific vehicle ones was like "destroy 4 silos in 4 seconds START OH OOPS YOU LOST ALREADY".

Re: Blast Corps; who has played it?

Of course I remember this game, I had nothing else to play with the N64 of my cousin back then in the gramma's house. How the fudge was I supposed to know that I needed to put a dynamite block in the crane to blow the bridge in oyster harbor, took me half a day to guess it out >_>.

That and the part where you have to go through like seven buildings with the... robot that does this weird roll and a classic uppercut, it's extremely complicated when your N64 controller's joystick is all used up (like most of them from so much Super smash bros.) xD.

Be sure to check me out man, you don't wanna miss out the GOOD stuff. .
