I love FPSs, I love RTSs, I love RPGs, It's not the genre that defines the game, it's the game itself, the content involved. The only games I really don't like are those like Myst... not really my cup of tea. However, I can't wait till Half-Life 2 comes out, dumb hackers...
FPSes suck

Thanks, I was going to flame Laharl, but this said what I was going for with a less irate tone.Originally posted by SpookGjust so you all know, a real gamer doesn't care what game it is. So i doubt people when they say "i'm a gamer" but yet hate certain games.
Gamers will play anything if challenged to retain their honor, even if they personally don't care for it. At least all the REAL gamers I've seen. I didn't like Call of Duty, but I had to play it for a local lan event since we hosed them in WC3 and they picked that as a rematch. FYI, we took them down in CoD too.
I don't prefer sports games--my best games are FPS and RTS--but I don't mind playing madden football or NBA jam on occasion. They are a fun break from the norm.
(#$%, i remember having Virtual Tennis tournaments on the dreamcast and then super puzzle fighter. And then after that we played counter-strike.
Cry harder, noobs, or just get better at FPS

Oh well, I guess that means the big critic among us all isn't a "true gamer". Like I care.SIG PICTURES:

well id like to say that people should respect games for being good when they are good games...personally i hate most rpgs (spuer mario rpg and KOTOR are the exceptions)...eitherway final fantasy games are still good, even though i hate them and would never touch one...the same should be seen by many of you...just becasue you dont like a game deosnt mean it isnt any good...Originally posted by VxDxStick it in her butt and pee.Comment

^Maka's got a point. There are some games which are just bad games (Animal Crossing), and then there are some games that are still good but may not suit your personal preference (for me, Sports Games). Then there are some games that are just better than others (i.e., everything > sports games).
And I was kidding about that last part.Comment

Will Rock has more things going against you.Originally posted by makaveli121212if you want a blast 'em up, mindless shooter anti go with serious sam gold...it doesnt get any better than that...strategy wise GR co-op is probably my favorite...you can get a few guys together and totally dominate, but still in a realistic way
Heck, even KISS PsychoCircus. Now THERE's a good FPS.Comment

I could say that English as a class doesn't suck, you just suck at it. I happen to love the language and making fun ot the stories we have to read (aka analyzing them).
Lol. Funny
