The red ring if death is where instead of the lights bieng green they turn red. three of four lights flash red and that symbolizes internal hardware failure.

doesnt it happen mostly in the Xbox elites? but yeah as long as u have a warenty and you dont violate it then u should be fine

It takes two weeks to ship it out, get it fixed, and get it back; if even that long. I've had my 360 over a year and I've only gotten the RROD once. It was easy to fix, and you still have the towel trick if you have to keep playing.

No big deal. Even with the RROD, the 360 is still by far my favorite console.

Really? The guy at best buy told me they would get me a brand new one right away if it ever happened to me.

I'm to pissed about my Red Rings of Death that I'm getting a PS3. I also think that the PS3 also has a better future line up so yeah I'm pretty happy.

Red Ring was a really big deal, but to be honest i only know about two people personally out of about the 50 friends of mine that own 360s got red ring. Some of my friends even tried to fix it....

I got it about 5 days after I got my 360. I sold the "new" one about 2 months later.
